Dr. José L. Medina obtained his medical degree from the University of Seville, Spain, and his training in neurology at the Chicago Medical School where he is now a Clinical Professor of Neurology.
He was awarded a Fellowship in headache research by the Sandoz Foundation of New York. He is also the Director of Neurology at Methodist Hospital and an attending neurologist at Swedish Covenant Hospital.
He has written and lectured extensively on the subjects of neurology, pain management, and headache treatment, and is well recognized in these fields. Paired with a team of specialists, Dr. Medina ensures patients receive both high quality care and personalized attention.
Jerrel Boyer, D.O.

Jerrel Boyer, D.O., has 15 years of experience and regional recognition as both a spine surgeon and an intracranial tumor surgeon. He specialized in pain and nerve procedures, cranial, as well as minimally invasive spine surgery. He served as chief of the neurological surgery and neuroscience department at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, the most highly awarded hospital in Kentucky. Dr. Boyer is involved in Medical mission trips to Nigeria, which he plans to coordinate at Swedish Covenant Hospital in the future.
